Pediatric Surgery Service Started at Yatağan State Hospital

Health services in Yatağan district of Muğla have been strengthened with a new branch. Pediatric Surgery Specialist Op. Dr. Muhammed Kurt has started accepting patients at the Muğla Training and Research Hospital Yatağan Additional Service Building. With the new assignment, it is aimed to enable faster and easier access for pediatric patients living in Yatağan and surrounding districts to surgical evaluation and treatment processes. The hospital administration stated that the service will make significant contributions to the health needs of the local population.

Pediatric Surgery Clinic Will Operate Three Days a Week

Pediatric Surgery Specialist Op. Dr. Muhammed Kurt, who started working under the Muğla Training and Research Hospital Yatağan Additional Service Building, will provide outpatient services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Thus, families who previously had to go to different districts or the center of Muğla will be able to have their children's surgical examination and follow-up procedures done in Yatağan.

The pediatric surgery branch plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of congenital anomalies, inguinal hernia, circumcision, digestive system disorders, and various childhood diseases requiring surgical interventions. The new service is expected to especially facilitate access to health services for families in the region.

Appointments Can Be Made Through MHRS and ALO 182

It was announced that citizens who want to have a pediatric surgery examination can make appointments through the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS) or the ALO 182 line. Hospital officials recommend that citizens use the appointment system to prevent clinic crowding and to conduct the services in a more organized manner.

With the introduction of the new branch, the scope of health services offered at the Yatağan Additional Service Building has also expanded. This situation is expected to provide significant convenience for citizens living in both Yatağan and surrounding districts.
