Emergency Training Provided to Staff in Muğla

The staff at the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry received theoretical and practical training from AFAD within the scope of the Emergency Action Plan. The program explained the correct intervention methods for fire and other emergencies.

In the meeting hall of the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, an Emergency Action Plan training was organized by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) for the institution's personnel.

During the program, participants were informed about preparation for emergencies, task distribution, and personnel responsibilities within the framework of the Occupational Health and Safety Law and the Regulation on Emergencies in Workplaces.

Theoretical Training for Intervention Teams

The training included theoretical information for personnel assigned to first aid, extinguishing, protection, and rescue teams. Methods to be applied for coordinated action of teams during possible disasters and emergencies were explained.

Emergency Drill Conducted

In the practical section of the program, drills were carried out based on possible emergency scenarios. During the drill, the correct intervention methods to be applied in cases of fire and similar emergencies were demonstrated practically to the personnel.

The effort aimed to increase the institution personnel's capacity for disaster and emergency preparedness and to develop rapid, coordinated, and effective intervention skills in potential incidents.

Officials stated that such training and drills are important for ensuring personnel act correctly in emergencies and strengthening coordination among intervention teams.
