Surprise flight decision by THY reported to KAP

Turkish Airlines is expanding its flight network in South America. According to the statement made to KAP, scheduled flights will begin to Lima, the capital of Peru.

Turkish Airlines (THY) has added another to its efforts to expand its international flight network. The company is including Lima, the capital of Peru, in its South American destinations.

In the statement made by THY to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was announced that the new route has been approved.

In the notification made by THY to KAP, the following expressions were included: “It has been decided by the Board of Directors of our partnership, depending on opportunities and market conditions, to start scheduled flights to Lima, the capital of Peru.”

South America network expands

With the new route, it is aimed to increase the variety of THY's destinations in South America. The Lima flights are considered one of the important steps strengthening the company's global flight network.
