Turkey's important tourism center, Antalya, was 14th on the list with a ratio of 9.2. According to the study's data, Muğla's tourist/resident population ratio reached about 1.9 times that of Venice and 2.2 times that of Miami.
Bodrum, Marmaris, and Fethiye Stood Out
While evaluating Muğla's tourism potential in the research, Bodrum, Marmaris, and Fethiye were especially highlighted.

An increase in visitor numbers during the tourism season causes a seasonal rise in demand for services such as transportation, drinking water, sewage, treatment, solid waste management, and coastal usage.
The increased population mobility in Muğla's coastal districts such as Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye, and Datça during summer months makes it important to plan municipal services and tourism infrastructure according to the seasonal population.
