Local and Foreign Tourists Flocked to Çalış Beach
The world-famous Çalış Beach in Fethiye district of Muğla was flooded with local and foreign tourists on the first day of August. With rising temperatures, vacationers enjoyed the summer by swimming and sunbathing. Çalış Beach in Fethiye, one of Turkey's important tourism centers, experienced overcrowding on the first day of August.
Local and foreign tourists took the opportunity of the warm weather and flocked to Çalış Beach from early morning hours. Vacationers creating density at the beach tried to protect themselves from the heat by swimming in the cool waters of Çalış Beach.
While most of the sun loungers and umbrellas at the approximately 4-kilometer-long coastal strip of Çalış Beach were occupied early in the day, some vacationers set up their own umbrellas and enjoyed the sea.
Families who came to the beach with their children enjoyed the sea, while foreign tourists preferred sunbathing. The activity on the shore was also reflected in the cafes and restaurants in the area.
At Çalış Beach, one of the most visited beaches in Fethiye, tourism activity was observed to increase further with the start of August.
