Oceania Regatta Anchored at Marmaris Port with 1100 Passengers
The Oceania Regatta cruise ship under the Marshall Islands flag arrived in Marmaris with 1100 passengers and 400 crew members. Tourists shopped while exploring the historic bazaars and participated in tour programs.
The Oceania Regatta cruise ship, flying the Marshall Islands flag, arrived at Marmaris Port in the morning after coming from Aydın's Kuşadası Port.
The 181-meter-long and 25-meter-wide cruise ship entered Marmaris with 1100 passengers and 400 crew members. After completing customs procedures, tourists disembarked and flocked to the district center.
The majority of the passengers toured Marmaris's historic Kaleiçi streets and the Covered Bazaar while shopping. Some tourists participated in day tour programs visiting the district's natural and historic tourist spots.
While shopkeepers experienced bustling activity in Marmaris, an important stop for cruise tourism, it was learned that the Oceania Regatta would depart the port in the evening to its next destination, the port of Heraklion in Greece.
