The Muğla Babadağ Cable Car Facility is located approximately 13.9 kilometers from the center of Fethiye district. Transportation from Muğla city center requires a journey of about 139 kilometers. Since the main station of the facility is located on the Ölüdeniz road, transportation by private vehicle is quite easy.

For visitors who want to use public transportation, shuttle bus lines operate during the season from Fethiye and the surrounding districts towards Ölüdeniz. Thanks to these lines, it is possible to reach the cable car facility directly or with a short walk. A significant proportion of tourists coming to the region also start their cable car journey by leaving their vehicles in the facility's parking lot.

1200 Meter Station

1700 Meter Station

The station at 1700 meters altitude appeals to those who want to spend time intertwined with nature. It includes a biological pond, walking paths, and viewing terraces. 1800 Meter Station

The 1800 meter station attracts attention with panoramic views and social areas. Burger House restaurant and walking routes are found here. The area is also used as an important stop for chairlift connections.

1900 Meter Station

One of the closest points to the summit of Babadağ, the 1900 meter station is a popular spot for paragliding enthusiasts with the Patara and North slopes. Due to the forest tower, viewing areas, and summit views, it is among the sections where visitors spend the most time.

The fee schedule announced for 2026 varies according to visitor categories.

Students and visitors with special needs must present documents to benefit from the discounted rates. Identity cards are also mandatory for relatives of martyrs and veterans.

Cable Car Usage Rules and Trip Details

The facility management enforces specific rules for travel safety. Cable car cabins have a capacity of eight people, and passengers must follow the directions of the staff. Smoking and consumption of food and drink are prohibited inside the cabins. Only water transportation is allowed.

Regarding luggage, each passenger is allowed one cabin-sized suitcase with a maximum weight of 8 kilograms. Carrying flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.

On the other hand, trips can be canceled due to weather conditions, strong winds, or technical reasons. In such cases, the operation plan can be updated by the management in line with safety priorities. It is especially noted that stations at high altitudes such as 1700, 1800, and 1900 meters can be directly affected by weather conditions.

Parking Fees and Working Hours

The parking lot of the cable car facility serves visitors openly. Free shuttle service is provided from the parking lot to the main station.

• 2–6 hours: 70 TRY
• Over 6 hours: 200 TRY

The working hours of the facility and the parking lot are applied as 08:00 – 21:00.
