Free dietitian service started in Marmaris

Free dietitian service has started at the Women's Counseling and Family Services Center operating under Marmaris Municipality Health Affairs Directorate. At the center where Expert Dietitian Meltem Mirza serves, professional support will be provided to citizens regarding healthy nutrition.

Marmaris Mayor Acar Ünlü also visited the center and received information about the ongoing activities. Mayor Ünlü, who had measurements taken himself, highlighted the importance of services supporting healthy living, stating, "We want to open the doors of a healthy life to everyone. We wish for all our neighbors to benefit from this professional and free support offered under the coordination of our Health Affairs Directorate. Because we know that a happy and healthy society starts with healthy individuals," he said.

Dietitian Meltem Mirza, who stated that within the scope of the service, consultancy will be given on weight management, child and adolescent nutrition, nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding, healthy eating in chronic diseases, and creating healthy lifestyle habits, also mentioned that citizens wishing to benefit from the free dietitian service should make an appointment.
