Beaches in Marmaris Packed to Capacity
With the summer season picking up in Marmaris, one of Muğla's popular tourism centers, the beaches were flooded with local and foreign tourists.
As temperatures rose, vacationers eager to enjoy the sea and sun filled the beaches. Especially the İçmeler and Uzunyalı beaches in the district attracted the most attention. Visitors arriving at the beach from early morning cooled off by swimming, while some preferred sunbathing on loungers.
With the acceleration of the tourism season, the density along the coastline in Marmaris visibly increased, and shopkeepers expressed their satisfaction with the bustle. Authorities stated that the number of visitors to the district is expected to increase even more throughout the summer season.
