The Malta-flagged cruise ship Marella Discovery, operating a 7-day tour in the Aegean Sea, arrived at the district of Marmaris in Muğla early this morning. Docking at the large pier of Marmaris Port, the ship created activity in the district.
Departing from Limassol, Cyprus on June 17, Marella Discovery visited Rhodes Island, Kuşadası, and Patmos Island before arriving in Marmaris. After Marmaris, Alanya is on the ship's route. The final stop of the tour will be Limassol again.
The Ship Carries 1750 Passengers and 742 Crew Members
The 264-meter-long cruise ship carries 1750 passengers, mostly British, along with 742 crew members. After customs procedures were completed, tourists disembarked and began exploring Marmaris.

The tourists arriving in Marmaris are expected to visit the district's historical and touristic spots throughout the day, mainly Marmaris Bazaar, Old Town, and the Marina. Some tourists prefer shopping while others spend time by the seaside.
Marella Discovery is scheduled to depart Marmaris Port at 18:00 today and head to Alanya.
