Former Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Osman Gürün resigned from CHP
Former Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Osman Gürün announced that he resigned from the Republican People's Party under the 'absolute nullity' administration.
Osman Gürün, who served as mayor in Muğla for 25 years, announced that he resigned from the CHP under the absolute nullity administration led by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
Gürün said, "It is very difficult emotionally to leave a party where I have served for such a long time, but it is not an emotional decision; I thought it is what we need to do logically. Unfortunately, I had to leave my party on Monday, the first working day."
Stating that he will join the NEW Party led by Özgür Özel, Gürün said, "After their organizational chart is finalized at the NEW Party, I will register on Wednesday or at the latest on Friday."
