Expected appointment in CHP Muğla

CHP Central Executive Board (MYK) convened under the chairmanship of CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. After the meeting, which lasted about two and a half hours, CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı stated that the agenda included the NATO Summit held in Ankara, inflation, and internal party issues.

Stating that NATO's most valuable gain for Turkey is the cooperation in the Defense Industry, Sarı said, "We confirmed at this summit how important the level reached by the Turkish defense industry, especially in unmanned combat vehicles, actually is. It was confirmed that there can be no NATO security or European security without the security of Europe, and without the security of Turkey and transforming Turkey's gains in the defense industry into a part of Europe's security."

Appointments made for 14 provinces

Sarı stated that appointments were made to replace the dismissed provincial chairmen in previous meetings, saying, "We have appointed Maarif Kızılağaç as the provincial chairman for Bitlis. For Aksaray, Cansu Bülbül; for Bilecik, Kazım Yağmur; for Denizli, Ayhan Oran; for Diyarbakır, Sertaç Eke; for Ağrı, İbrahim Varol; for Iğdır, Halil İbrahim Artantaş; for Kırıkkale, Mustafa Demirel; for Manisa, Engin Uzun; for Muğla, Halil Karahan; for Muş, Sertaç Demirel; for Nevşehir, Tayfun Ceyhan; for Yozgat, Kazım Eli Açık; for Tekirdağ, Erdoğan Kaplan have been appointed as provincial chairmen."

7 provincial chairmen and administrations dismissed

Sarı said appointments will be made for other provinces in the coming weeks. He also mentioned that there were provincial chairmen and administrations dismissed at the meeting, stating, "We have dismissed and taken over the organization of our Afyonkarahisar province and central district, our Giresun province, that is our provincial chairman, provincial administration, disciplinary board, and central district chairman and administration, Trabzon province and Ortahisar which is the central district, Yozgat province and provincial administration, Burdur province and provincial administration, Aydın province and provincial administration, and Tekirdağ province and provincial administration. In total, 7 of our provinces."

3 names referred to the High Disciplinary Board with dismissal request under precaution

Sarı stated that 3 names were dismissed at MYK, saying, "We have previously referred Çağatay Güç, who had served as our İzmir provincial chairman but had been dismissed from previous MYKs, to the High Disciplinary Board (YDK) with a dismissal request under precautionary measures. Similarly, we have referred our Giresun and Trabzon provincial chairmen to the High Disciplinary Board with the request for dismissal under precautionary measures."
