After the meeting held by the Republican People's Party (CHP) Central Executive Board (MYK) on June 30, notable decisions regarding the organizations were announced. CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı announced at a press conference that Muğla Provincial Chairman Nail Kızıl was removed from his post and referred to discipline. The decision was not limited to Muğla alone. Following the decision by the MYK, 26 provincial chairmen were dismissed, while provincial chairmen in 7 provinces were referred to discipline with an expulsion request.
26 Provincial Chairmen Removed from Office by CHP MYK
According to CHP Spokesperson Müslim Sarı, a comprehensive evaluation of the party's organizational structuring was conducted at today's MYK meeting. Accordingly, the provincial chairmen of Ağrı, Aksaray, Amasya, Batman, Bilecik, Bolu, Çanakkale, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Düzce, Eskişehir, Hakkari, Iğdır, Kars, Kırıkkale, Manisa, Mardin, Muğla, Muş, Niğde, Nevşehir, Samsun, Sivas, Tunceli, and Sinop were dismissed from their duties. The party administration stated that the decision was made as a result of MYK evaluations and that the process for new appointments in these provinces is expected to be clarified in the coming days.
Disciplinary Process Also Initiated Against Nail Kızıl
Within the scope of the decision, CHP Muğla Provincial Chairman Nail Kızıl was not only removed from office but also among those referred to discipline. According to Müslim Sarı's statement, disciplinary actions will be applied in a total of 7 provinces including Denizli, Muğla, Eskişehir, Sinop, Düzce, Kars, and Tunceli.
The party administration did not provide detailed explanation as to the reasons for initiating the disciplinary process, but stated that the process will be conducted by the relevant party bodies.

Nail Kızıl's name recently came to public attention due to a Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu poster hanging in the CHP Muğla Provincial Chairman's building. The cross mark on the poster caused different interpretations among the public and within the party base, sparking debates.
