Tourist Influx to Bodrum; 1760 Tourists Arrived by Sea
In Muğla's Bodrum district, where cruise traffic accelerates during the summer season, the giant passenger ship Marella Discovery anchored at the port. The ship carried thousands of tourists to Bodrum.
The Malta-flagged Marella Discovery, 264 meters long, arrived in Bodrum early in the morning from Greece's Thira Port. It was learned that the majority of tourists on board were British.
The cruise ship, carrying a total of 1760 passengers and 736 crew members, will stay in Bodrum throughout the day. Passengers are expected to spend time in the district center and tourist areas.
It was reported that Marella Discovery will depart in the evening for its next stop, Greece's Heraklion Port.
