4,200 Private Jets Landed in Bodrum in Two Months

The world's and Turkey's richest individuals and VIP guests turned their route to Bodrum this summer as well. Approximately 4,200 private jets landed at Milas-Bodrum Airport in June and July.

As every summer, this year the world's and Turkey's richest individuals and jet-setters turned their route to Bodrum. Approximately 4,200 private jets landed at the Milas-Bodrum Airport General Aviation Terminal in June and July.

Bodrum, one of Turkey's favorite tourism centers, hosts many VIP guests ranging from Russian oligarchs to international investors, and from royal family members to world-famous artists. The airport, which experiences heavy traffic during the summer season, has become an important hub where dozens of private jets land and take off every day.

Among those who prefer Bodrum the most, Russian oligarchs are in the first place, while billionaires from France, Greece, England, Italy, and the United Arab Emirates also show great interest in the region. According to Sabah's report, authorities expect the number of private jets landing at Milas-Bodrum Airport to reach 10,000 by the end of summer as the season continues.
