Strong support from AJet to Bodrum tourism

Turkey's youngest airline company Ajet positioned Milas-Bodrum Airport, operated by TAV Airports, as its third operational base during the summer season. Ajet started direct flights to a total of 22 destinations, including 14 routes in Europe, Lefkoşa and 7 domestic routes from Bodrum.

Due to the direct routes from Bodrum to Europe, a ceremony was held at Milas-Bodrum Airport on July 3, 2026, with the participation of Bodrum District Governor Ali Sırmalı, Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, Ajet Deputy General Manager Cemal Kaya, TAV Aegean and TAV Milas-Bodrum General Manager Candemir Akyıldız, Ajet and TAV Airports executives, local authorities, and sector representatives.

Bodrum became the third operational base

In a statement about Bodrum routes, Cemal Kaya said, "As Ajet, after Istanbul and Ankara, we positioned Bodrum as our third base as of this summer. We connected Bodrum to 13 European cities with direct flights in order to transport tourists from Europe and contribute to our country's tourism potential. Our fourteenth route will also start operations soon. This summer, we fly to a total of 22 destinations, 15 international and 7 domestic, from Bodrum. We allocate a very significant capacity to Bodrum with 43 frequencies per week. We believe that our Bodrum operations which we launched last week will add value to our passengers, Bodrum tourism, and the regional economy."

Ajet established an air bridge from Europe to Bodrum

Ajet’s first direct flights from Bodrum to Nuremberg, Hamburg, Berlin, Sarajevo, Bremen, Vienna, Stockholm, Hannover, Skopje, Copenhagen, Leipzig, and charter flights to Tirana and Pristina have been realized. The first flight from Bodrum to London will take place in mid-July.

Direct access from Europe to the heart of tourism

Positioning Milas-Bodrum Airport as a new base during the summer period, Ajet aims to increase Bodrum's international accessibility and contribute to Turkey's tourism. Direct flights, which eliminate waiting times during connection travels, save time for guests and strengthen tourism and commercial mobility between destinations.

Most flights to Germany

Ajet operates a total of eight direct flights per week from Bodrum to six cities in Germany. Flights are scheduled on Thursdays and Saturdays to Nuremberg and Hamburg, on Tuesdays to Berlin, on Sundays to Bremen, on Wednesdays to Hannover, and on Saturdays to Leipzig. London flights will be operated three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There are two weekly charter flights to Tirana, and direct flights once a week to Sarajevo, Vienna, Stockholm, Skopje, Pristina (charter), and Copenhagen. On the Bodrum-Lefkoşa line, where the first flight took place on June 26, two weekly round trips are operated.

Direct flights to Bodrum from 5 domestic cities

In addition to Istanbul and Ankara, Ajet has increased its direct domestic routes to Bodrum. Direct flights to Milas-Bodrum Airport are operated from Trabzon, Adana, Gaziantep, Samsun, and Kayseri. A total of 12 weekly flights are planned on these routes, with the first direct domestic flight of the season from Kayseri to Bodrum on June 27. Milas-Bodrum Airport, operated by TAV Airports, served 4.4 million passengers in 2025. In the first five months of 2026, it hosted 940,330 passengers, marking a 4% increase compared to the same period last year.
