Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Support Services Department has turned the summer holiday into an opportunity and started maintenance and repair works in school buildings in line with requests from educational institutions. Within the scope of the works carried out in coordination with the Provincial Directorates of National Education, 14 schools located in the districts of Menteşe, Yatağan, Marmaris, Seydikemer, Fethiye, and Ortaca are undergoing a comprehensive renovation process before the new academic year.

In the first six months of 2026, 3 schools were provided with new Atatürk busts, while maintenance and repairs were carried out on existing busts in 22 schools. Additionally, Atatürk corners were created in 4 schools, and comprehensive maintenance and repair work was completed in 12 schools.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality's support for educational institutions continues uninterrupted. So far, 206 Atatürk busts have been donated to schools across the province, and 90 Atatürk corners have been established. The Metropolitan Municipality will continue maintenance, repair, and renewal works according to requests from school administrations to ensure students have a higher quality learning environment until the new academic year begins.
