Agricultural Organization Certificate applications continue

STRONG SUPPORT FOR AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS

The Agricultural Purpose Organization Grading System implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry aims to strengthen the institutional capacities of agricultural organizations, increase their sustainability, and encourage them to provide more effective services to their members. Applications for the year 2026 started on June 1.

Muğla Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Seyfettin Baydar stated that agricultural cooperatives, agricultural producer unions, and breeding animal breeder unions can benefit from this application, and said the applications will end on July 5, 2026.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: JULY 5, 2026

Baydar emphasized the importance of not missing the application process, highlighting that agricultural organizations should complete their procedures without leaving them to the last days.

Director Baydar expressed that the Regulation on the Grading of Agricultural Purpose Organizations was published on November 28, 2023, entering into force, and the implementation was introduced for the first time in 2024. “In 2024, 103, and in 2025, 145 agricultural organizations have qualified to receive the First Degree Agricultural Organization Certificate. This application significantly contributes to the institutional development of our agricultural organizations.”

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN THE CERTIFICATE?

Baydar pointed out that organizations applying must be registered and active in the Ministry records or KOOPBİS system, regularly hold general assembly meetings within the last five years, must not be in execution, bankruptcy, or liquidation processes, must not be managed by a trustee, and must have no public or social security premium debts. He added that upper organizations cannot apply to the grading system.

APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED ELECTRONICALLY

Emphasizing that applications are only accepted electronically, Baydar said, “Applications can be made via todes.tarimorman.gov.tr or through the e-Government Gateway. Applications by mail, e-mail, or in person are not accepted. We strongly recommend our agricultural organizations to complete their applications without leaving them to the last day.”

EVALUATION IS DONE UNDER SEVEN MAIN HEADINGS

Baydar noted that in the grading system, organizations are evaluated under seven headings: institutional structure, general activities, financial status, the quality of management bodies, marketing power, promotional activities, and social activities. Following the scoring, organizations scoring between 60 and 100 points are entitled to receive the "First Degree Agricultural Organization Certificate."

IMPORTANT ADVANTAGES FOR CERTIFICATE HOLDERS

Baydar stated that agricultural organizations and their partners with a first-degree certificate benefit from various advantages: “Organizations with this certificate benefit from additional points and supports in agricultural subsidies, special advantages in low-interest agricultural loans, and are represented more effectively in various organizations and decision-making processes of our Ministry.”

CALL FROM BAYDAR TO AGRICULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS

Muğla Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Seyfettin Baydar invited all agricultural cooperatives, unions, and breeder organizations in the province to evaluate the application process and once again reminded that the applications for the 2026 period end on July 5, 2026.
