After the 34-hour fire in Seydikemer, the state is healing the wounds
In Muğla's Seydikemer district, after a forest fire that started in Bayır Neighborhood and spread to Sarıyer, Çökek, Çatak, Kayacık, and Dere neighborhoods and was brought under control following a 34-hour intensive struggle, efforts continue to heal the wounds.
Families affected by the fire were visited at their homes by AK Party Deputy Chairperson and Head of Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, AK Party Muğla Deputy Yakup Otgöz, Seydikemer District Governor Mustafa Dilekli, Seydikemer Mayor B. Önder Akdenizli, and AK Party Seydikemer District President Ali Büklü, who conveyed their get well wishes.
The delegation listened to the requests and needs of the citizens affected by the fire and stated that damage assessment work is being meticulously carried out by the relevant institutions.
During the visits, it was emphasized that the state and all its institutions stand by the citizens affected by the fire, and it was stated that support efforts to repair damaged homes, agricultural lands, and other losses will continue uninterruptedly.
Following the fire, damage assessment, cleaning, and restoration efforts continue in the region, and it was reported that public institutions are coordinating their work to help the disaster victims return to their normal lives as soon as possible.
