Üçkuyular Park Renewed, Sports and Play Areas Increased
The ground, play groups, and sports areas in Üçkuyular Park have been renewed. A safer living space was created for children and citizens.
Bodrum Municipality continued its maintenance and renewal works in parks and green areas across the district with Üçkuyular Park. Due to heavy use and external factors, the park deteriorated over time and was given a modern and more functional appearance as a result of comprehensive work. The rubber flooring was completely replaced, and new play groups and sports equipment were installed in the park. This work created a new social area where children can play in a safe environment and citizens can exercise and relax.
Rubber flooring completely replaced in Üçkuyular Park
Bodrum Municipality Park and Gardens Department teams renovate parks that have reached the end of their service life according to the planned program in addition to routine maintenance works. As part of this, the worn and unsafe rubber flooring in Üçkuyular Park was removed first. With the complete renewal of the play area's flooring, the aim was to reduce the risk of children falling and getting injured. The teams also performed maintenance and repairs in different sections of the park and inspected worn equipment. The renewed area was made more orderly both in appearance and usage.
New sports equipment and play groups installed in the park
As part of the renovation works, the facilities in Üçkuyular Park were also expanded. The teams installed 8 sports devices, 2 swings, 2 seesaws, and a new children's play group in the park. The new sports equipment allows citizens of different age groups to exercise in the open air. It was noted that the play equipment for children was selected from safe and durable materials. Thus, the park was transformed from a play area used only by children into a more comprehensive social living space where families can spend time together.
Safe area for children, functional space for citizens
With the completed works in Üçkuyular Park, a more functional area was created where children can safely play and adults can exercise and rest. The renewed flooring and equipment are suitable for intensive use. Municipal teams stated that parks are not only playgrounds but also social spaces where neighborhood residents gather and that the works are planned according to this need. The renewed park is especially aimed to serve families with children and citizens who want to exercise outdoors.

Bodrum Municipality will continue maintenance, repair, and renewal works in parks and green areas throughout the district according to the planned program. Considering usage intensity, the condition of existing equipment, and neighborhood needs, there are plans to renovate parks at various points. The aim is to make public spaces safer, more comfortable, and qualified and to improve the quality of life for citizens.
