Future engineers exhibited their projects in Menteşe
Menteşe Children's Science Park Coding and Robotics Center, operating within the Menteşe Municipality, hosted a special year-end event featuring innovative projects prepared by students throughout the year.
At the event, which attracted great interest from citizens and families, robotic projects produced by children using digital technologies received great appreciation. Güven Balta, one of the founders of the center and an instructor, shared detailed information about the activities and training programs conducted within the center during a statement at the event area.
Balta, stating that they have been conducting uninterrupted educational activities throughout the year, said, "I am both the founder and instructor of the Menteşe Municipality Coding and Robotics Center. Here, throughout the year, in addition to our basic robotics coding trainings held every three months, we conduct advanced robotics courses together with high school students and children with advanced curiosity. Right now, we are organizing the year-end event of our trainee students."


Emphasizing that the students did not remain limited to theoretical knowledge during the training process, but transformed into active producers, Balta said, "Our children combined the knowledge they learned from us throughout the year and produced solutions to problems they identified themselves and designed their own year-end robotic projects. Today, here, with great participation and appreciation from our public along with their families, we are conducting a nice event."

Balta, stating that they introduce children to digital technologies at the center and explaining the production stages of the projects, said: "We introduce our children to digital technologies throughout the year. However, this process is not just theoretical. With our 3D printers in the workshop, they personally produce the mechanical parts of the projects. Then, they assemble the electronic parts of these robotic projects, connecting their motors and sensors. In the final stage, they write the codes that determine how all these systems will work. In this way, our children are introduced to digital technologies in the most accurate and practical way for the future."


The year-end event, which received full marks from visitors, concluded with future engineer and software developer candidates exhibiting their projects and guests examining them.
