Ahmet Aras Inspected the Forest Fire in Milas on Site

Intensive intervention is continuing by air and land under the coordination of the Regional Forest Directorate in the forest fire that broke out in the Haydar Bay area of Bozbük Neighborhood in Milas district of Muğla. Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras also went to the fire zone and followed the work on site.

The intervention of the teams to the forest fire that broke out above the Haydar Bay area of Bozbük Neighborhood in Milas district of Muğla continues uninterruptedly. Muğla Metropolitan Municipality supports the efforts carried out under the coordination of the Regional Forest Directorate with all its units for controlling the fire.

All Units of the Metropolitan Municipality Are in the Field

In addition to the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, the firefighting efforts are also supported by MUSKI General Directorate, Environmental Protection and Control Department, Directorate of Technical Affairs, and Department of Disaster Affairs and Risk Management teams. The teams work coordinately to prevent the fire from spreading to residential areas and forested regions.

Mayor Aras Inspected the Efforts on Site

The Chair of the Aegean Coast Municipalities Union and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras went to the fire zone and followed the extinguishing works on site. Mayor Aras said, “We have mobilized all our resources as Muğla Metropolitan Municipality to bring the fire under control as soon as possible. Under the coordination of Muğla Regional Forest Directorate, our firefighting teams, MUSKI teams, and all related institutions are fighting tirelessly to prevent the spread of the fire,” he said.
