Provincial Director Seyfettin Baydar stated that application deadlines have been extended due to intense interest in programs aimed at supporting production, employment, and technological transformation in rural areas. Baydar said, "As announced by our Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, the application period within the scope of the Rural Development Investments Support Program and Efficient Agricultural Irrigation Systems Supports has been extended until June 30, 2026. We expect our producers and entrepreneurs to take advantage of this opportunity and complete their applications."

“Within the scope of the program, a budget of 10 billion lira is made available to our entrepreneurs to support production, employment, and technological transformation in rural areas. Unlike previous periods, both grant rates and project upper limits have been increased this year.” Grant support between 50% and 70%, including VAT, will be provided for projects ranging from 100 thousand TL to 30 million TL. Provincial Director Baydar pointed out that the investment areas to be supported cover a very wide range and stated; "From the processing, packaging, and storage of agricultural products to modern greenhouses, from livestock investments to aquaculture, from beekeeping to renewable energy investments and smart agricultural technologies, our investors will be able to benefit from the supports in many areas."

Emphasizing that data-driven production, automation, robotic systems, and artificial intelligence-based agricultural applications are also encouraged within the scope of the support program, Baydar stated that the goal is to accelerate technological transformation in agriculture. Baydar noted that there are special arrangements aimed at strengthening the role of women and youth in the rural development process; "At least 20% of the program budget has been allocated to the investments of our women and young entrepreneurs, and 30% to our family enterprises. We consider it extremely important to support our youth and women for the sustainability of rural production," he said. He expressed that the project amounts eligible for grants under the program vary between 100 thousand TL and 30 million TL, with the upper limit set at 8 million TL for family enterprises, and said that grant support ranging from 50% to 70% will be applied to approved projects. In addition, he stated that additional grant support will be provided for projects that include the use of renewable energy and automation systems. Provincial Director Baydar drew attention to the importance of effective use of water resources and noted that under efficient agricultural irrigation systems; investments in drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, micro sprinkler irrigation, subsurface drip irrigation, Center pivot and linear irrigation systems, reel irrigation systems, solar-powered irrigation systems, smart irrigation, and automation systems will be supported. Finally, Baydar called on producers and entrepreneurs; "We invite all our producers and entrepreneurs who wish to invest in rural areas to take advantage of the extension of the application deadline until June 30, 2026, prepare their projects, and benefit from the support. Our Muğla Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and district directorates will continue to provide the necessary technical support to our citizens throughout the application process," he said.
