A social event was organized for individuals with special needs at a horse farm located in Hisarönü by the Fethiye Autism Association operating in the Fethiye district of Muğla. The event, where individuals with autism spent time intertwined with nature, featured colorful and emotional moments.
Within the scope of the event organized by the Fethiye Autism Association, association members and their families gathered at the horse farm located in Hisarönü. While the children had the opportunity to meet the horses, they experienced different activities spending time in close contact with nature.
Speaking about the event, Fethiye Autism Association President Berrin Yılmaz stated that their goal is to contribute to the social development of children and said the following:
“As Fethiye Autism Association, today we are at the horse farm in Hisarönü. We wanted to organize an event for the children and members of our association. The participation was quite intense. We aim for our children to be in touch with nature, explore new places, and develop their social skills. We know that the bond established with horses has calming and positive effects on our children. Therefore, we preferred to hold this event here. We thank Mr. İlhan, the owner of the horse farm who supported us, the staff, our families, and everyone who contributed.”
Ilhan Bozok, the operator of Hisarönü Family Horse Farm hosting the event, expressed that they are pleased to host individuals with special needs.
Bozok, in his statement, said, “Today, we are very pleased to host the valuable members of the Autism Association led by Berrin Yılmaz at our establishment. We have previously supported our individuals with special needs. Today, we stand by them as well. As a farm, our door will always be open to them.”

The ground, play groups, and sports areas in Üçkuyular Park have been renewed. A safer living space was created for children and citizens.
The 'Barrier-Free Market' project was launched by the Muğla Branch of the Turkish Association of Disabled People to support the economic and social participation of disabled individuals and their families.
With the new regulation published in the Official Gazette, significant changes have been made to the norm staff system of municipalities. The regulation covering municipalities across Turkey also closely concerns the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality and its affiliated institutions. Director positions exceeding the norm staffing standards will be frozen, and when they become vacant, they will not be refilled and will be canceled by the decision of the municipal council.
