37 Degrees Expected in Köyceğiz, Milas, Ortaca, and Seydikemer
According to forecasts, the hottest districts of Muğla will be Köyceğiz, Milas, Ortaca, and Seydikemer. While the air temperature in these districts is expected to reach 37 degrees, it will be 35 in Dalaman and Yatağan, and 33 degrees in Menteşe and Fethiye. In Bodrum and Datça, the temperature will be lower compared to other districts due to the influence of the sea.
Warning: Do Not Go Outside During Noon Hours
Meteorology officials advised citizens not to stay outdoors unless necessary between 11:00 and 16:00, when the sun’s rays are most intense. Experts emphasized that elderly people, children, pregnant women, and those with chronic illnesses should be cautious against heat stroke, recommending plenty of fluid intake, taking sun protection measures, and avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
Warning Against Forest Fire Risk
Authorities pointed out that the risk of forest fires increases due to high temperatures, low humidity, and wind, and they urged citizens not to light fires in forested areas, nor to leave materials such as cigarette butts and glass bottles that could cause fires in nature.
