Weed cleaning continues in Bodrum against fire risk
Bodrum Municipality teams carried out weed cleaning on 295,698 square meters of green areas and 373,677 meters of roads and sidewalks in three months to reduce the risk of fire and protect environmental order.
Bodrum Municipality continues its weed cleaning efforts across the district aimed at reducing the increased fire risk during summer months, maintaining environmental order, and preserving urban aesthetics.
Comprehensive cleaning works are carried out in parks, green areas, roadsides, and sidewalks according to the program determined by the Park and Gardens Directorate teams.

Works conducted at hundreds of points in three months
In May, the teams cleaned 97,188 square meters of green areas and 57,183 meters of roads and sidewalks.
In June, 86,709 square meters of green areas and 178,619 meters of roads and sidewalks were cleaned, while in July the works continued on 111,801 square meters of green areas and 137,875 meters of roads and sidewalks.
During the three-month working period, a total of 295,698 square meters of green areas and 373,677 meters of roads and sidewalks were cleaned throughout Bodrum.

Works will continue across the district
It was reported that the works aimed at cleaning weeds, which grow rapidly during the summer season and especially increase fire risk in dry periods, will continue in parks, green areas, roadsides, and sidewalks throughout the district according to the determined program.
