Forest fire broke out in Yatağan

A fire broke out for an unknown reason in the forested area located in Turgutlar Neighborhood of Yatağan district in Muğla.

Following reports from citizens who saw the flames rising from the area, forest and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene.

Due to the darkening weather, aerial intervention could not be conducted, while the teams reportedly started ground operations to control the flames.
It was noted that the wind was effective in the region and that the teams experienced difficulties in intervention as the fire broke out in a steep and high area.
