Governor Akbıyık's Message on the 44th Anniversary of the Coast Guard Command

Muğla Governor Dr. İdris Akbıyık celebrated the 44th anniversary of the Coast Guard Command with a published message.

Muğla Governor Dr. İdris Akbıyık released a congratulatory message on the 44th anniversary of the Coast Guard Command.

In his message, Governor Akbıyık stated that since its establishment, the Coast Guard Command has continuously improved its current structure, capabilities, and capacities, and that it has tirelessly continued its efforts to increase operational effectiveness according to planned strategies based on reason and science.

Governor Akbıyık emphasized that the Coast Guard Command is the only general law enforcement force responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the "Blue Homeland" seas, and highlighted that the organization constantly increases its capacity and performance to deliver the highest quality service in the shortest time.

Akbıyık noted that with the trust and support of the nation, the Coast Guard Command operates 24/7 continuously over a responsibility area wider than Turkey's surface area.

Noting that the tasks assigned by law are successfully carried out in coordination with other law enforcement agencies, Governor Akbıyık expressed that the Coast Guard Command has an important responsibility in converting the wealth of the seas into gains in line with national interests.

At the end of his message, Governor Akbıyık commemorated all martyrs and veterans with mercy and gratitude, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic, and his comrades in arms, and celebrated the 44th anniversary of the Coast Guard Command.
