Governor Akbıyık's 'Father's Day' message

Muğla Governor Dr. İdris Akbıyık, in his message on Father's Day, congratulated all fathers, who are the main pillar of the family institution and the unshakable fortress of justice, mercy, and trust, on Father's Day.

In his message, Governor Akbıyık said, "In our ancient civilization, the father is a great lighthouse who mobilizes all material and spiritual means for the family's livelihood, teaches how to distinguish right from wrong, and under whom children find peace. Our fathers play a very important role in transferring our national and spiritual values, love for homeland and flag, and the sacredness that makes us who we are to future generations. The effort and prayer of every father, who works day and night to bring halal livelihood to his children and carries all the burdens of life with dignity, is the greatest guarantee of our strong social structure. On this meaningful day, I respectfully greet and kiss the hands of the fathers of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the survival of our homeland, and the peace and security of our nation. You are our pride. Our state and our precious nation will always continue to cherish this sacred trust left by our martyrs to us with the same respect and compassion. With these feelings and thoughts, I congratulate all our fathers who dedicate their lives to raising their children as good members of humanity on Father's Day. I remember our fathers who have passed away with mercy and gratitude; and I wish all fathers still alive long lives full of health and wellness together with their children," he said.
