WIND MAKES INTERVENTION DIFFICULT
The wind, which is effective in the fire area frequently changing direction and sometimes increasing in intensity, makes extinguishing efforts more difficult.
Personnel from the General Directorate of Forestry, Muğla Regional Forestry Directorate, fire brigades, and other institutions are making intense efforts to prevent the flames from reaching residential areas. Air vehicles also support extinguishing efforts under suitable conditions.
