Temperature will continue to rise every day
As today, heavy rain is expected in most parts of our country tomorrow as well. While precipitation will decrease in the new week, temperatures will begin to rise.
On Thursday, June 18, temperatures are expected to reach 38 degrees in districts such as Seydikemer, Milas, and Ortaca.
While rain is expected tomorrow (Sunday) in some regions of Muğla, as it was today, the air temperature will begin to rise noticeably starting Monday, June 15.
METEOROLOGICAL OUTLOOK
According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology; Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea regions, northern and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Gaziantep, Kilis, and the eastern parts of Van are expected to experience heavy and thunderstorm rain. Rainfall is expected to be locally strong in the inner Aegean, inner parts of the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, southern Edirne, Çanakkale, Adana, Osmaniye, Çorum and Tokat surroundings, as well as the western parts of Hatay. Winds are expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in Marmara, northern Aegean coastlines, and western parts of Eastern Anatolia.
AIR TEMPERATURE: Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 5 to 7 degrees in the western parts, with no significant changes in other areas.
WIND: Generally from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate in the eastern parts of the country from southerly directions, and strong (40-60 km/h) in Marmara, northern Aegean coasts and western parts of Eastern Anatolia.
WARNINGS
HEAVY RAIN WARNING: Since rains are expected to be locally strong in the inner Aegean, inner parts of the Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, southern Edirne, Çanakkale, Adana, Osmaniye, Çorum and Tokat surroundings, and western parts of Hatay, caution and precautions should be taken against negative effects such as floods, waterlogging, landslides, lightning, local hailstorms, strong winds during rainfall, and disruptions in transportation.
STRONG WIND WARNING: As winds are expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from northerly directions in Marmara, northern Aegean coasts and western parts of Eastern Anatolia, caution and precautions should be taken against possible negative effects.
