Air temperatures are expected to be 38 in Bodrum, 36 in Dalaman, 37 in Marmaris and Fethiye, 39 in Ortaca, Seydikemer, Köyceğiz, and 40 degrees in Milas and Yatağan.

METEOROLOGICAL OUTLOOK

According to the latest evaluations by the General Directorate of Meteorology: Northern parts of our country, as well as the inner regions of the Mediterranean, will be partly cloudy to very cloudy in places; showers are expected around the coasts of Central and Eastern Black Sea, Kastamonu coastal areas, Sinop and Artvin surroundings; showers and thunderstorms around Erzurum, Kars, Ağrı, Iğdır, and Ardahan; isolated showers in Edirne and Kırklareli areas; other regions are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy and very heavy (30-70 kg/m2) in the eastern parts of Trabzon and around Rize.

TEMPERATURE: Air temperatures, generally around seasonal norms, are expected to be above the seasonal norms locally in southern and eastern parts.

WIND: Generally from the north, in southeastern parts from the south, light to occasionally moderate; in the afternoon, strong winds (40-60 km/h) are expected from northern directions in the southwest of Marmara and the Northern and Coastal Aegean.

WARNINGS

HEAVY RAIN WARNING: Since strong and locally very strong showers and thunderstorms (30-70 kg/m2) are expected in the eastern parts of Trabzon and around Rize, attention and precautions should be taken against adverse situations such as floods, water inundation, lightning, transportation disruptions, and landslides.

STRONG WIND WARNING: Since strong winds (40-60 km/h) from northern directions are expected in the afternoon in the southwest of Marmara and the Northern and Coastal Aegean, attention and precautions should be taken against possible adverse situations.

METEOROLOGICAL OUTLOOK FOR MUĞLA AND ANTALYA

It is expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.

TEMPERATURE: Expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees.

WIND: From the north and west; along coastal areas around noon, from south and west, light to occasionally moderate, locally strong around noon is expected.

Due to high temperatures and low humidity, attention and precautions should be taken against possible adverse effects.
