"Russian Bride" Mesmerized Vacationers on Stage in Bodrum

One of the most remarkable cultural events of the summer season took place in Bodrum. The play "Russian Bride," staged to support the treatment of DMD patient Eymen Özdoğan, organized by the Bodrum Branch of the Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD) with the support of Bodrum Municipality, received great applause from the audience filling the Nurol Cultural Center.

In the play written and directed by Erol Hizarcı, successful actors Elif Aysel Nazım and Eray Sel impressed the audience with their moving performance, making them both laugh and give a standing ovation. Many vacationers who chose Bodrum for their summer holiday turned their attention to theater after enjoying the sea and sun, experiencing an unforgettable night in the hall.

At the end of the night, veteran actress Elif Aysel Nazım expressed her happiness about the intense interest they witnessed in Bodrum, saying, "It was thought that staging theater in summer resorts was risky. But we saw that vacationers show great interest in quality art. With the support of our municipalities, we want to bring our play to the audience outdoors throughout the entire holiday strip this summer."
