MUSKİ General Directorate continues its training aimed at increasing the technical knowledge and competence of its personnel by closely following developing technologies
The MUSKİ General Directorate continues its training aimed at increasing the technical knowledge and competence of its personnel by closely following developing technologies. Within this scope, theoretical and practical training on MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) technology was given to the personnel working at the Gümbet and Gümüşlük Wastewater Treatment Plants.
In line with the management vision of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras, which is based on a qualified service approach alongside strong infrastructure investments, MUSKİ General Directorate continues its educational efforts for the professional development of its personnel. Within this scope, theoretical and practical training covering advanced wastewater treatment technologies and facility operation processes was conducted for the personnel working at the Gümbet and Gümüşlük Wastewater Treatment Plants. The aim of the organized training was to improve the professional knowledge and experience of the personnel in accordance with current technologies.
Closely following developing technology and innovative applications, MUSKİ General Directorate continues personnel training with the aim of operating wastewater treatment facilities with the highest efficiency. Within this scope, Prof. Dr. Hulusi Barlas and Şebnem Aybige Barlas provided theoretical and practical training on basic MBR operation principles and operator duties to the personnel working at the Gümbet and Gümüşlük Wastewater Treatment Plants.
During the all-day training program, the working principles of MBR technology, efficient operation of systems, applications for membrane protection, maintenance processes, operational problems that may be encountered, and solutions were detailed. After theoretical presentations, personnel had the opportunity to reinforce the knowledge they gained through practical applications conducted in the field.
The organized trainings aim to increase the knowledge and competence of technical staff working at wastewater treatment plants, and to carry out facility operation processes more effectively and efficiently. The goal is for personnel to adapt to current technologies, intervene more quickly and accurately to potential operational problems, and sustainably maintain facility performance.
MUSKİ General Directorate not only implements infrastructure investments but also values the professional development of its personnel to operate these investments at maximum efficiency. With the contributions of experts in the field, thanks to well-equipped personnel through the organized trainings, it is aimed to improve the quality of environmental and infrastructure services provided to citizens. At the end of the training program, thanks were extended to Prof. Dr. Hulusi Barlas and Şebnem Aybige Barlas, who contributed to the program by sharing their knowledge and experiences with the personnel.
