MUPA Signed the Cooperation Agreement with Hacettepe University

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality institution MUPA signed a cooperation protocol with Hacettepe University.

Muğla Planning Agency (MUPA) continues to expand its collaborations developed with universities. Having established a common working ground in various fields with Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, MUPA has now signed a cooperation protocol with Hacettepe University "Center for Enhancing Market Economy and Entrepreneurship."

The protocol signing ceremony between MUPA, an institution of Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, and Hacettepe University was attended by MUPA President Tansu Özcan, and Hacettepe University faculty members Prof. Dr. Ayşen Sivrikaya, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Yasemin Yalta, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Burçin Yereli, and Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Kızıltan. Within the cooperation involving academicians working in economics, finance, and entrepreneurship, it is planned to develop research on the economic and social problems faced by local governments and to support solution-oriented studies.

The Cooperation Covers Research, Development, Education, Entrepreneurship, Internships, and Employment Topics

Within the scope of the protocol signed between MUPA and Hacettepe University, it is aimed to carry out joint efforts in local development, entrepreneurship, and data-driven policy development. The cooperation, aimed at transferring academic knowledge to local-level planning and implementation processes, covers a broad area from research and development activities to training programs, from entrepreneurship and innovation efforts to internship and employment support.

It is aimed that the collaborations MUPA develops with various universities contribute to establishing stronger links between scientific knowledge and local needs and support policy development processes directed towards Muğla's future.
