Former Muğlaspor footballer Akın Çavaş has passed away.

Muğlaspor management, in a post on social media; "We have learned with deep sorrow the death of Akın Çavaş, one of our club's former footballers, who served as general captain and in managerial roles, providing important services to Muğlaspor.

We will always remember Akın Çavaş, who devoted many years of effort to our green-white jersey and community, with respect and mercy.

We wish mercy from God for the deceased; our condolences to his family, relatives, and the Muğlaspor community."
