A new chapter is also opening regarding the management of packaging waste. The supervision of the applications will be continuously carried out by the provincial directorates of the relevant ministries. The rapid adaptation of Muğla residents to the new rules will play a key role in the success of the process.
Starting Over in Traffic Policies
The compulsory traffic insurance conditions for motor vehicles on the road throughout Muğla started to be applied in their updated form today. The vehicle depreciation amounts to be considered under the policy will be determined exclusively by experts within the framework of rules set by the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency (SEDDK). Drivers filing damage claims will legally activate the depreciation claim automatically. Items related to caretaker expenses needed after accidents and prosthetic organ fees have been added to the Health Expenses Guarantee sections. The compensation calculations for death and disability cases have been renewed. Agencies will be able to deliver legal notices to their customers electronically via mobile applications, the e-Government system, email or SMS.
What Information Will Be Included on Menus?
New rules started to apply from today in countless food and beverage establishments in Muğla, the capital of tourism. Menus presented to customers must now clearly state allergen warnings and exact calorie amounts for the products to be ordered. The rule was immediately made mandatory in the Muğla branches of large national chain restaurants. For other local restaurant and eatery owners in the region, the conversion deadline has been set as December 31, 2026.
1 TL-Earning Recycling System
The Deposit Return System developed against environmental pollution has been launched throughout Muğla today. Return devices established across 81 provinces and a total of 973 districts nationwide were opened for use. Citizens will be able to deposit glass bottles with official deposit emblems, metal cans, PET plastics, and some cardboard products into these machines. For every qualifying package returned to the system, a 1 TL deposit will be paid instantly.
