The return journey of vacationers started in Muğla
In Muğla and its districts, on the last day of Eid al-Adha, the return journey of vacationers caused traffic congestion.
Those who preferred important tourism centers in the South Aegean such as Bodrum, Marmaris, and Fethiye for the holiday started their return journey.
In Bodrum, movement occurred due to vacationers returning with their vehicles. More than 10,000 vehicles exited the district in the last 12 hours. Due to the congestion, long vehicle queues formed on Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street in the Gümbet-Milas direction.
In Marmaris, there is congestion on the Datça highway, on National Sovereignty Street in the direction of Muğla.
In Fethiye, vacationers returning caused congestion on the Ölüdeniz-Fethiye highway, while vacationers returning from Marmaris and Datça caused congestion on the Marmaris-Ula highway and the entrance to the Menteşe district.
Traffic teams of the police and gendarmerie took measures at intersections and directed drivers.
