Forest fire volunteer trainings continue in Muğla

"Forest Fire Volunteer" training activities carried out under the Muğla Forest Regional Directorate continue uninterruptedly. The latest training held at the Ula Fire Management Center was attended by Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers who received theoretical and practical information.

Forest Fire Volunteer trainings, organized to protect forest assets and raise public awareness against forest fires while supporting professional teams, continue at full speed. In this context, the Ula Fire Management Center hosted an important training program.

The training program was attended by the Neighborhood Disaster Volunteers Emergency Response Association (MAG-AMDER) Muğla Provincial Representation Menteşe Teams. MAG-AMDER volunteers, who have fast and organized intervention capabilities during disasters, showed great interest in the training by taking responsibility in protecting the green homeland.

During the training program, a comprehensive presentation was made to the volunteers by Forest Engineer Mehmet Oruç. Volunteers were provided with technical and practical information on vital topics such as basic methods of combating forest fires, correct and safe intervention techniques during fires, proper use of equipment used in the field, and personal safety measures./İHA
