District Governor and Deputy Governor Appointments in Muğla Published in the Official Gazette
District governor and deputy governor appointments in Muğla have been announced. Changes in duties in Milas, Menteşe, and Dalaman were disclosed.
With the appointment decisions published in the Official Gazette dated June 17, 2026, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, many administrative officials in Muğla have had their posts changed. Within the scope of the decision, there were changes at the district governor level in the districts of Milas, Menteşe, and Kavaklıdere, while new names were also appointed to the Deputy Governorship positions of Muğla.
Changes in District Governor Positions in Muğla
According to the appointments made under Presidential Decree No. 3, Vural Karagül, who served as the district governor in Tire district of İzmir, was appointed as the district governor of Milas district in Muğla.
Mustafa Ünver Böke, the district governor of Milas, was appointed as the district governor of Fatsa district in Ordu by the new decree.
There was also a change in duty in Dalaman district. Mesut Yakuta, the district governor of Muğla Dalaman, was appointed to the İzmir Tire district governorship.
Ali Edip Budan, Deputy Governor of Balıkesir, was assigned as the district governor of Menteşe, the central district of Muğla. Thus, a new name was appointed to the Menteşe District Governorship.
Ali Argama, the district governor of Muğla Kavaklıdere, was appointed district governor of Hassa district in Hatay within the scope of the decree.
New Term in Deputy Governorship Positions
Changes were also made in the Muğla Deputy Governorship positions with the appointment decisions. İsmail Çorumluoğlu, Deputy Governor of İzmir, was appointed to the Muğla Deputy Governorship.
Ahmet Ferhat Özen, Deputy Governor of Çankırı, was also among those appointed as Deputy Governor of Muğla as part of the decree.
Among the deputy governors serving in Muğla, Ali Yılmaz was appointed as Deputy Governor of Aydın, while Murat Kahraman was appointed as Deputy Governor of Ordu.
Deputy Governor of Muğla, Hüseyin Karameşe, was appointed district governor of Toroslar district in Mersin.
