Professional Development Training Provided to 2,750 Drivers in Muğla

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has completed the 'Driver Professional Development Training' program held in 13 districts to improve the quality of public transport services and to maximize traffic and passenger safety. A total of 2,750 drivers participated in the trainings.

Muğla Metropolitan Municipality has completed the "Driver Professional Development Training" program held in 13 districts to improve the quality of public transport services and to maximize traffic and passenger safety.

A total of 2,750 drivers participated in the trainings. Under the coordination of the Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department and in cooperation with Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Lifelong Learning Application and Research Center Directorate, training sessions were organized for public transport vehicle drivers, private public transport vehicle drivers and operators, as well as shuttle and taxi driver tradespeople.

6-Week Training Program in 13 Districts

During the training given by expert academicians, topics such as anger control and stress management, handling difficult passengers, adaptation to corporate culture, and dynamic and defensive driving techniques were covered.

The training program was carried out in the regions of Fethiye-Seydikemer, Menteşe-Ula-Yatağan-Kavaklıdere, Milas, Bodrum, Marmaris-Datça, and Ortaca-Köyceğiz-Dalaman.

Aiming for Safe and Quality Transportation Service

The trainings organized by Muğla Metropolitan Municipality aim to increase the quality and efficiency levels in public services, maximize citizen satisfaction, and prevent potential accidents. The trainings intend to raise awareness regarding passenger, traffic, and vehicle safety.

Mayor Aras: "Safe and Quality Transportation is Our Priority" Kıyı Municipalities Union and Muğla Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Aras emphasized the importance they give to training efforts aimed at increasing citizen satisfaction and strengthening safe transportation in public transport services, stating, "With the professional development trainings held in 13 of our districts, we aimed to improve both communication and driving skills of our drivers. We will continue working to ensure that our citizens receive safer, higher quality, and more comfortable transportation services."
