Muğla Chamber of Pharmacists Provides Health Support in the Fire Zone

The 32nd Region Muğla Chamber of Pharmacists issued a statement regarding the forest fires occurring in different parts of Muğla. The statement noted that support has been provided for efforts to meet the medication and health needs of citizens affected by the fire as well as the teams involved in extinguishing the fires.

It was stated that the activities conducted under the coordination of Muğla Governorship are being carried out in cooperation with the Provincial Health Directorate, municipalities, and the Chamber of Pharmacists Disaster Commission.

Support for procurement and delivery of medications

The statement recorded that pharmacists and relevant institutions have carried out dedicated work in the procurement of needed medications and their delivery to the fire zone.

The Board of Directors of the 32nd Region Muğla Chamber of Pharmacists thanked their colleagues contributing to the efforts, members of the Disaster Commission, the Provincial Health Directorate, municipalities, and all institutions involved in the coordination.

The statement also expressed gratitude to the Central Committee of the Turkish Pharmacists' Association for supporting the fulfillment of needs during the fire process, with the following words:

“We extend our thanks to the Central Committee of the Turkish Pharmacists' Association, who are always by our side and do not withhold their support in meeting the needs.”

At the end of the statement, wishes for a speedy recovery were conveyed to citizens affected by the fires, and ease was wished to the teams working in the firefighting efforts.
