Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues road investments to strengthen the transportation infrastructure in Marmaris.
Within the scope of the works carried out by the Directorate of Technical Affairs, hot asphalt works started with a cost of 25 million TL in Çamlı Neighborhood are ongoing, while the road renewal works started with an investment of 77 million TL in İçmeler Neighborhood are nearing completion.
In the works carried out in Çamlı Neighborhood, the renewal of a 5.6-kilometer road is planned. Ground improvement, plant mix base (PMT) laying, and hot asphalt application are carried out within the scope of the works. So far, hot asphalt work has been completed on a 2.8-kilometer section within the project, and the teams continue their work on the remaining route.
Near completion of İçmeler road
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality is nearing the end of the road renewal works it started in İçmeler Neighborhood, one of the important tourism destinations of Marmaris. The works are carried out on an approximately 3.5-kilometer route known as Atatürk Street, which provides transportation between Marmaris center and İçmeler. Most of the works have been completed within the scope of the road renewal planned as two platforms and four lanes.
Road works continue throughout the district
Muğla Metropolitan Municipality continues road investments in Marmaris without distinction between rural and central neighborhoods and has completed the road construction works previously carried out in the neighborhoods of Adaköy, Bayır, Söğüt, and Orhaniye, making them available for public use.
Thanking the Directorate of Technical Affairs employees working to expand the safe and comfortable road network, Ahmet Aras, President of the Coastal Municipalities Union and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, stated that investments continue across the province.
