Message from MHP Seydikemer District President Mehmet Arıç on July 15
Nationalist Movement Party Seydikemer District President Mehmet Arıç, in his message on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, stated that July 15 is a historic turning point where the chains imposed on the will of the Turkish nation were broken, remembering the martyrs with mercy and the veterans with gratitude.
Nationalist Movement Party Seydikemer District President Mehmet Arıç, in his message on the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, expressed that the unity, solidarity, and love of the homeland demonstrated by the Turkish nation on the night of July 15, 2016, were inscribed in history with golden letters. Arıç began his message with the words "The chains imposed on the will of the Turkish Nation on July 15 have been broken," emphasizing that the stance the nation showed against the coup attempt that night will never be forgotten.
Mehmet Arıç said, "The treacherous coup attempt targeting our precious homeland on the night of July 15, 2016, was thwarted thanks to the unwavering will, courage, and love of the homeland of the Turkish nation. That night, our nation defended its flag, state, and independence, giving the world an unforgettable lesson in democracy and national unity." Arıç expressed that July 15 is not only a day when a coup attempt was prevented but also a historic turning point where it was declared to the entire world that the Turkish nation's independence and future cannot be shackled under any circumstances.
Touching upon the stance of the Nationalist Movement Party regarding national unity and solidarity, Arıç said, "As the Nationalist Movement Party, we place the survival of our state, the peace of our nation, and the indivisible integrity of our country above all else, and we continue our struggle with the same determination today as in the past against every traitorous focal point targeting our national unity and solidarity."
At the end of his message, remembering the martyrs and veterans, Arıç stated, "On this meaningful day, I commemorate all our heroes who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, especially the July 15 martyrs, with mercy, gratitude, and prayers; I wish our veterans a healthy and peaceful life. May our unity last forever, our state endure eternally, and our flag always fly high. How happy is the one who says 'I am a Turk!'"
