Storm warning from Meteorology for Muğla seas

The General Directorate of Meteorology issued a storm warning for the Aegean Sea and the western part of the Western Mediterranean. According to the warning, a storm is expected to blow from the north and northwest directions at a speed of 50 to 75 kilometers per hour in the South Aegean, covering the coasts of Muğla, starting from noon tomorrow.

According to the warning number 417 issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the wind in the South Aegean will blow as a storm from the north and northwest directions at force 6 to 8 (50-75 km/h) after noon on Wednesday, July 29. It was reported that the storm is expected to lose its effect after noon on Saturday, August 1.

Meanwhile, in the western part of the Western Mediterranean (Antalya Bay), the wind is expected to blow as a storm at force 6 to 8 (50-75 km/h) from northerly directions starting from the early hours of Wednesday, July 29, and it is stated that it is expected to lose its effect from noon on the same day. Meteorology officials stated that those concerned, especially fishermen, sailors, and citizens operating in coastal areas, should be cautious and take precautions against possible disruptions in transportation and adverse conditions at sea.
