Meteorology issued a heavy rain warning

Showers and thunderstorms are expected around Sakarya, Bilecik, Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, Muğla, Aydın, and Denizli as well as the coastal areas of Hatay. The precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the interior regions of the Western Mediterranean, the eastern Black Sea coasts, Denizli surroundings, and western parts of Konya.

RAIN EXPECTED IN MUĞLA, HIGH TEMPERATURES ON THE COASTS

In Muğla, the central district Menteşe is rainy intermittently today with a temperature of 34 degrees, Bodrum is hot at 36, Dalaman locally rainy 32, precipitation is expected in some regions including the high areas of Fethiye bordering Denizli Çameli. The coast will have 35 degrees, rain is expected in the high areas of Marmaris, Köyceğiz, and Ortaca with 34 degrees, and rain is also expected in the high areas of Seydikemer. The central temperature is at the highest 37 degrees, and rain is expected in Yatağan with 37 degrees.

According to forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country will generally be partly cloudy, locally very cloudy with showers and thunderstorms over Thrace, the Mediterranean (except interior regions of Kahramanmaraş and Hatay), Central Anatolia (except Sivas), the Black Sea (except Bayburt), the eastern part of Eastern Anatolia (except Erzurum and Ardahan), as well as the surroundings of Sakarya, Bilecik, Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, Muğla, Aydın, and Denizli and the coastal areas of Hatay.

STRONG WIND WARNING: As the wind is expected to blow strongly from the north and locally as a short-term storm (40-70 km/h), especially in the south of Marmara and the Aegean coast, caution and precaution should be taken against possible adverse conditions.

The region is generally partly and very cloudy with showers and thunderstorms expected after noon. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy around Denizli and the southern parts of Afyonkarahisar.
