General assemblies of cooperatives in Menteşe completed

Menteşe District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry attended the general assemblies of agricultural development cooperatives in the district and met with producers.


In the meetings, information was provided on many critical issues ranging from rural development supports to e-prescription applications.

The general assembly excitement was experienced in cooperatives, which are one of the most important pillars of agricultural production and the culture of acting together in Menteşe. Under the coordination of the Menteşe District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, the general assemblies of S.S. Avcılar Agricultural Development Cooperative and S.S. Özlüce Agricultural Development Cooperative were successfully completed.

The general assembly meetings held with intense participation were also personally attended by Eren Kaçmaz, District Director of Agriculture and Forestry of Menteşe. Listening to the demands and opinions of producers, District Director Kaçmaz emphasized the role of cooperatives in local development.

After the general assemblies, a comprehensive informative meeting was organized for the participants by the technical staff of the District Directorate and District Director Eren Kaçmaz. The main topics highlighted at the meeting were: strengthening the institutional structures of cooperatives and how to maximize the benefits from rural development supports provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The e-prescription system, which is closely related to producers engaged in livestock and ensures transparency and security in the use of medicines, and the rules to be followed were explained in detail. Producers were guided about the current projects, production planning, and support models of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
The Menteşe District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry emphasized that it will continue to support local agriculture and producer organizations and be alongside producers in the field. The general assemblies ended after mutual exchange of views and question-answer sessions.
