Sunset Concerts in Menteşe Start in July

Menteşe Municipality will bring citizens together at open-air music events with the Sunset Concerts it will organize during the summer season. The concerts, featuring performances from different music genres throughout July, will take place at the Lawn Area on top of Menteşe Municipality Children's Science Park and Bayır Neighborhood Republic Park. The program includes Turkish rock, pop, arabesque, original music, and mixed tunes. Concerts will be held between 19:30 and 21:00.

Menteşe Sunset Concerts will start with rock music

The Menteşe Sunset Concerts will begin on Friday, July 3 with the stage performance of the band Yolgeçen. The concert, to be held at the Lawn Area on top of Menteşe Municipality Children's Science Park, will bring the band together with listeners with a Turkish rock repertoire. The program, which aims to enliven summer evenings with cultural and artistic events, will be held in open areas in the city center where citizens can easily reach. By scheduling the concerts to coincide with sunset hours, the music events will take place in a calmer and more social summer evening atmosphere.

Pop, rock, and arabesque will be included in the same program

The concert schedule has been prepared to cover different music genres. On Thursday, July 9, the band Rahvan will perform pop and rock songs in the same area. The program will continue with an arabesque concert by musician Hamdi Demirtaş on Thursday, July 16. On Thursday, July 23, musician Sonay Özdemir will take the stage with a repertoire consisting of mixed tunes. Thus, the Menteşe Sunset Concerts will offer content appealing to different musical tastes throughout July.

The final concert will be held in Bayır Neighborhood

The last event of the Sunset Concerts will be held on Thursday, July 30 at Bayır Neighborhood Republic Park. Musician Pınar Ercan will close the program with an original music performance. The municipality ensures that the events are not limited to the city center by bringing the concerts to neighborhood scale. All concerts will be held between 19:30 and 21:00.
