There is an antique and second-hand market every month in Marmaris

Muğla's touristic Marmaris district Hisarönü Village Neighborhood Headman and Hisarönü Village Solidarity Association open an antique and second-hand product market on the last Sunday of every month.

With the start of the tourism season, the first "Antique and Second-hand Product Market," which took place yesterday (May 31, 2026) at the Köşem Hisarönü location, brought together antique enthusiasts from all over Turkey.

Coinciding with the Eid al-Adha holiday, visitors to the market included people from Marmaris as well as from Istanbul and Izmir. The market featured items considered antiques, some over 100 years old, clothing, souvenirs, and handmade accessories.

Providing information on behalf of the Hisarönü Village Solidarity Association, Ceyda Tok stated that they will continue to hold the event on the last Sunday of every month until the end of the season, saying, "In the first market, we brought together 43 second-hand and antique item sellers with our community, contributing both to the economy and social solidarity and acquaintance.

Visitors on vacation in Marmaris and Datça also came to our market to experience a different day."
