GETOB President Cengiz Aygün, Marmaris Young Businesspeople Association President Caner Torunoğulları, Muğla Individual Tourism Transporters Association President Adem Çatalkaya, Marmaris Tourism Association President Levent Esin, Ahmet Çolak on behalf of Marmaris Skal Association, Deputy Mayor Sedat Kırt, and Council Member Müjgan Gürgan attended the meeting. The current state of Marmaris tourism, the problems experienced by the sector, solution proposals, and projects for the future of the district were discussed at the meeting.
After the meeting, Mayor Acar Ünlü, who stated that they want to strengthen the culture of consultation, said, "We will continue these meetings with different associations and professional groups. Our aim is to talk about Marmaris, share the work we have done as a municipality, and evaluate our city from your perspective as well. We address today and tomorrow of Marmaris together and talk about what we can do with common sense."
Ünlü stated that they exchanged ideas on many topics ranging from tourism to city order, quality of life to the future of Marmaris, and added, "We believe that the most important factor that will carry Marmaris to a stronger future is to think together and act together.
